Beyond the Skills Gap

Shawn's doctoral research examines why newly promoted frontline sales managers so often fail — arguing the cause is structural and systemic rather than a simple lack of skills. The work proposes a Systemic Regression Model of new sales manager failure, with practical implications for how companies promote, onboard, and support their sales leaders.
